God, it never goes away. I know you most certainly understand that.
This is one of my biggest issues as well. I tend to dwell, and think of "what if's" way too often, as if anything could change...
Sometimes the best thing I have to remind myself is that the past is just that, the past. We don't live there anymore.

When I see someone treated unfairly, criticized without reason, hurt for no good reason. I know some (many) people have social disabilities and don't understand that things they do or say are hurtful, but there is so much wrong with making someone hurt.
Animal cruelty.
It doesnt. It gets easier as time goes on though.

…yep, my mom died at the end of last year and it’s a struggle, still…although I lost her long before that to Alzheimer’s…I’m sorry for your own loss…The thought of my mother's death in 2019.
