Just to put the record straight, I no longer live in Spain, I returned to the UK about three years ago, but still own my house in Spain which I rent out to a Spanish family.

That would be very costly.Indeed, good thing I’m not a commuter. I live and work in the same city. A tank of gas lasts me 2 or 3 weeks if I just go to work and back & stay local.
I'm from Michigan, USA. Only lived in this state. We live rural on wooded acreage. Quite peaceful here
