Where do you get your news?

TV? Internet? Radio?

What sites, channels do you follow?

I just use google alerts

I type in the keyword and I get emailed a daily roundup from around the web

Helps me stay focussed on things I want to know about

I also read an Australian newsletter called the squiz. I like it because not only does it cover serious news, (and not just in Australia), but at the end of the email there are usually three or four weird headlines

Mostly on Google or it's a news story trending on YouTube that I'll pick up on.

I listen to the local news on a local radio station.

For national and international I run through these at least once a day:

And a couple of others as the mood strikes.....

I used to use Reuters and the Wall Street Journal, but now they've got a paywall on articles.

Does anyone actually pay on those?

I mean, there are like 20 different websites that we can choose from so I don't know why they bother asking for money.

I try my best to only get it from independent journalists. With corporate news I feel I'm just getting things curated that they want me to see and they never will report on what really matters. Plus any wartime you can assume corporate news is just parroting state sponsored garbage.

That said I don't really pay attention to news much anymore.

I get news from wherever I find it. I came across one site where there were three stories about Nikki Haley. One was a news story about using the word slavery. The other two were meaningless opinions by talking heads telling me things I could figure out on my own. So called experts

Local news stations and Reddit. But I take Reddit with a grain of salt.
