I've always like Van Gough. He painted almost 900 paintings in 10 years, van Gogh lived with mental illness throughout his life, ‘Starry Night’ was created in an ‘asylum’ (I have that picture framed in my house). Very interesting fella who did some amazing work despite all his struggles.

My favorite artist in terms of traditional art is Peter Max... Part of that may be because we have one of his paintings, which my dad managed to get signed for my birthday long ago. But still, his use of color is just generally rather amazing to me. :D

For digital art... I'm friends with most of the artists I'm inspired by. xD

A myriad of cartoonists, including but not limited to: Kevin Gillis, Matt Groening, Bill Kopp, Joe Murray, Mike Judge, Genndy Tartakovsky, Craig McCracken, Lauren Faust, Rob Renzetti, Mitch Schauer, Stephen Hillenburg, John R. Dilworth, Jhonen Vasquez, Maxwell Atoms, Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, C.H. Greenblatt, Simon Racioppa and Richard Elliott, Chris Pearson and Dan Mandel, Alex Hirsch, John Trabbic III, and much more!
