A question of strong simplicity, and desiring an answer of sheer simplicity as well, but, what is the song that you listen to whenever you're sad? I used to listen to Hurt by Nine Inch Nails and My Guardian Angel by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus back to back, but I've been shifting more toward Be Calm by Fun and things like that over the last month or so. They're kind-of a less depression form of sad, I guess.

Really depressing lyrics. Hurt is a good one but I prefer the Johnny Cash version.

One band I can not listen to anymore is Apocalyptica. To painful.

you know what?? i just realized that I am very seldom ever sad..

but when I am frustrated I like this song:

'you are sitting in your comfort

you can't believe I am real.

but you cannot buy protection

from the way that I feel'...

Maybe if somebody is sad, they should listen to this.

NOTE for the younger set, the blonde to Mr. Cash's right is Dinah Shore, singer, actress, and, here, daytime talk show host.

I just listen to almost anything by Porcupine Tree, Katatonia, or Paradise Lost. Doom Metal is an excellent style of music for nearly any emotion, especially sadness, and never fails to cheer me up.
