So far, I see all of what has been listed; fear, guilt, helplessness, as all part of the same shopping list with 'depression' as the heading.
Each will feed into the others, and make the overall situation worse.

I voted for "Hopelessness" because I suspect that if you feel that it would be very difficult to have any motivation or pleasure for life. I'd also suspect that the grief for the loss of a loved one is the feeling that is the most painful and difficult to deal with.
