I’ve been together with my queen since 2011, so 11 years and counting. We’ve got two kids, last one to be born in September. Yet we feel no need to get married. In my opinion it’s nothing more than a piece of paper. We’ve sworn to each other the day we started dating.

No. There is no legal requirement to do so, it is merely tradition. I don't care for tradition and I see no reason to take his name, thus submerging my identity.
I have the same answer. Plus its a lot of trouble to change your name.

I was almost married once before too. Glad it didn't happen.
I already am. In fact this is my second marriage. I don't plan on getting married again if this doesn't work out.
