Goodreads tells me the longest book i've read is 558 pages. To be honest chunky books put me off reading them i've had books like Goldfinch (800ish pages) and The Luminaries (850ish pages) on my TBR list for ages and I just keep putting off reading them.

Page count is a bit misleading isn't it? Some books use far larger font sizes than others.

I've read some of Ken Follet's works (at 800-1000 pages each) but The Pillars of the Earth (983 pages, 401905 words) barely compares to Worm (304 (web) pages, ~1680000 words) which I'm fairly confident is the longest book I've read.
