Has anyone here played it, collected it, or is currently into it? I'm primarily a collector, I have thousands of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I have one binder that has my nostalgic, sentimental cards and cards of greater value. I play the game too, but nowadays mainly virtual over Master Duel. Used to play Duel Links a lot before Master Duel was released.

Never have myself but I have a cousin who is super in to them.

I have just recently started getting back into it again. I have a haphazard collection that I will need to organize to make tidier. I have a few binders too. I also have a few of the games on Switch and PS4.

Are the video games fun?

I have the same game on Switch and PS4. Got it first on the PS4, then bought the more recent version on the Switch which comes with the DLC. I both enjoy it and don't. Haha I am playing through the story duels using the story decks which can be frustrating. You play as the person who actually won the duel in the respective anime and then if you wish you can play as the other person. Usually they are quite mismatched. So you curb stomp playing as one but then it is against you in the other. Turns out I only have one on PS4, must have been thinking of my PS3 title. I haven't played the one I just recently bought on Switch yet.

Can't get the DLC on the PS4?
I think you might be able to, but if I recall correctly it is cheaper to get the version which includes the dlc rather than buy all the dlc individually. So I just bought that version on the Switch. I think the Switch is a better platform for that style of game anyway. That same version also came out on PS4. But if I was gonna buy the same base game again.

That is at base rate too. I am pretty sure I got the Switch version because it was on special at the time. So it ended up being even cheaper to buy it.

Thats usually how it goes, the older a game gets, the cheaper it is. I remember I bought my daughter a game and a month later the version with all the DLC's included was cheaper than the base game I bought for her. I forgot what game it is now that I think of it. She lost interest in it so I never bothered getting her the version with all the bells and whistles.

Haha yeah, it is really common for that to happen now. I just checked and without discount getting all the dlc for legacy of the duelist costs almost double getting the version which comes with it all. 😬😬There have been times when I have just waited for a goty version of a game to come out. Although I can be pretty impulsive with my purchases and often forget. 😅😅

Note to self, don't buy a game until it has been out at least a year. :P

I got quite a bit of Yu-Gi-Oh cards for Christmas. Sadly, the most price-worthy card I pulled was worth $20. I was hoping to pull at least one Starlight Rare.

Are they usually worth more than $20?

I used to... back when Yugi oh was just a TV show I watched way back in the early aughts... even had a deck similar to yugi's save for exodia...
Had a Koriboh, a dark magician, pot of greed, etc.
