The American Psychiatric Association votes 13–0 to remove Homosexuality from its official list of psychiatric disorders , the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. I knew it was considered a mental illness. I didn't realise it took that long

That's in the West.

It would seem that a significant number of countries elsewhere have yet to "see the light".

And a good portion of them still regard it as a crime, in some cases punishable by death.

Even in the West, there's probably those who consider that a "woke" decision and will try to get the APA to reconsider it at some point. You'd think folks would have better things to do than fret about who does what with whom.
