Detroit Sports Forum is a community of sports fanatics that love having a little bit of sports banter. Given our name, we especially emphasize the discussion of Detroit sports, but we all have a love for sports in general, so don't be afraid to stop in and chat, regardless of what team(s) you root for.
We've been around since 2011, and we plan to be around for many years to come. With 1.1 million posts and 800+ registered users, we are an established community looking to broaden our audience and connect with other sports fans like ourselves.
Up until recently, we were running an archaic copy of vBulletin 3.8, but we have made the big decision to migrate over to the latest and greatest copy of XenForo. We recently had a custom style designed, and we've made a number of changes to our forum structure in an effort to appeal to the masses as well. We've also implemented a number of exciting new features, such as being able to display your favorite team within your profile. You can display up to eight different team logos, and we've got about anything you can think of. MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, WNBA, NCAA, etc. It's all there, so take pride in sharing your favorite teams with our community.
Finally, we've introduced a new live chat feature, allowing for instant conversations on gameday. So watch the game and chat with fellow fans like yourself! On top of that, we've got plenty more in the works, such as the establishment of our premium membership, the Legion of Fans. More information will come on that soon, but until then, let's talk sports!
