Forbid blood transfusions?

Some religions forbid blood transfusions.

What do you think about this?

Do you think there is anything morally objectionable about blood transfusions?

I'm ok if it's against your beliefs, that's up to you, but for me, if it can save my life or keep me going? Sure, do it!

I don't know if it has to be right or wrong, or why it even needs to be questioned. Should not be a majority rule thing IMO if someone does or does not want a transfusion for religious, personal reasons or whatever.
