What was the highlight of your day today?

Getting a text message saying the used laptop I really really wanted was still for sale and making the deal for it. He'll bring it to me once I'm home and he's available at that time.

One of my puppy's running away from the hosepipe, it was so funny because he's terrified of it and he just had his head popping around the corner of the wall spying on it.

Yesterday my boss took me out to lunch and the babe took me out to dinner.

Today: the fact that it's Friday

My ankles are aching now, having just got home from the choir's main annual Summer concert at the Berry Theatre, Hedge End, Southampton (Question Time was filmed there a few weeks ago), which involves a lot of standing in my posh togs & the shoes I only wear of special occasions, so they've never really got broken in properly.

The audience numbers were a bit disappointing, with less than the half the seats filled, but those that were there were very appreciative & seemed to have a good time.

On the whole it went pretty well - apart from the section in "Goin' Home", where I have a solo Tenor overlay. I was so concerned about finding my pitch for the final phrase that I missed my cue entirely. The thing is, though, that once that happens, if you come back in it sticks out like a sore thumb, so I just had to drop back until the final chord. I could have died. Every rehearsal & every other smaller concert - fine. Come the biggy - failure!!!

Spending time with my mom and going to the farmer's market. I really, really enjoyed walking around, seeing all the vendors, and supporting local sellers!

Highlight of my day was getting some frozen yogurt on the way home. It was pineapple / mago flavored and I got raspberries, blueberries and granola as toppings. Sooooo good.
