If you unexpectedly hit the jackpot, what would you do?
Have you asked that question to yourself?
I do, even I forget to get a ticket when I want to buy one. And when I finally buy one, I almost never check it. (so, what's the point I ask myself)

So, what would you do? How many things will change? (even the way of thinking and seeing things)

Many many times. The first thing I'd do is deal with all the legal stuff first so I wouldn't get audited by the IRS like hire a tax attorney and a financial advisor, set up trust funds for my kids, make a will, buy a house, new car, and go on a long vacation. I wouldn't go crazy with the money though.

Pamper myself a little at first, nothing too crazy.
Then, go on vacation to somewhere quiet, relax, and think about what's best to do

That's the thing... how??? At that point even the cousins that you never met will be contacting you hahaha

Hmm, actually, none of my relatives, except my brother and sister, know my address or where exactly I live and cant even find me by name either . :p
Even if they find out, I will tell them to their face to f###k off if they ask anything. Not because I am greedy and don't share, but because they never saw us as relatives or treated my parents well. In a way, we are strangers. Also, they got more than enough from my mother, but that's another story.
Now, I will help the people that mean a lot to me. My son, parents, brother, and sister.
But I forgot to mention, first, I will make sure to find a nice place for my parents, especially my mother, who is bedridden and all the work my sister does.

No way in hell am I helping any greedy relatives. Okay, now I need to win

I would pay off debt, maybe buy a small house, and throw the rest of it into investments and live off the interest. I would quit working full time and move to part time, mostly because I'm getting to the point where I can't physically handle full time anymore. I love my job, though, and wouldn't want to abandon it completely.

In Illinois you would first have to pay somewhere up toward about half of your winnings in TAXES!
It sucks(because all that jackpot money was ALREADY taxed during purchase) but half of 50 million is still more than I'd ever need. Lol

I'd get a house that's custom built out of the city(maybe a moat lol) and then would be investing into Gold, Silver, Bitcoin. The rest would be kept in a custom vault like at a Vegas casino. I would NEVER trust that much in a bank. I always say only keep what you're willing to lose in a bank.

First I'd form a trust and collect the winnings anonymously as a certified officer of said trust. That stops the "relatives" and "boy have I got a great investment opportunity for you" types because your name isn't associated with the winnings. Then I would pay off my debt, my family's debt, and make sure we had what we needed for life, including my sister who lives at home in the UK and her kids, I'd want them to have something. Then I'd maybe buy a reliable car, a modest house and save the rest. Maybe invest or start a business, something to keep me occupied. I don't want lavish things or mansions, but maybe I'd invest in some very rare video games for the collection...

I want to live in a castle, so it would go someway to building that (well probably a long way to building that)

orchards, golf courses, swimming pool, riding stables, I'll have it all..
