I find it really entertaining, I wasn't patient enough to wait for season three so ended up reading the manga. Which just means now I am always waiting for new chapters of that.

I haven't heard any updates about it other then the 3rd season still being in production. I don't know what's taking it so long.

Apparently it is a mixture of lingering impacts from Covid and how the industry itself is run. Which is why a lot of anime series have been experiencing delays. Some longer than others. Scarcity of staff, budgets, companies overcommitting to anime titles, burnout and that these factors were made worse by the impacts that Covid had.

Why Are So Many Anime Getting Delayed?

So many anime are getting delayed now for reasons other than the impact of the coronavirus. With so many anime being produced, it's no surprise that there will be production schedule and mismanagement issues within the industry that anime fans are unaware of.
