    I used to work in a place where I used NetZero in the middle of the night for access. Yes, it was dialup, and it was slow, and it had ads, and it would crap out for no reason. BUT. It was free, and it worked. And NETZERO still exists. https://www.netzero.net

    I haven't been in our local walmart since 2020. In fact, I've been in the one in Pascagoula, MS more than I went to the one here in the last ten years.
