I'm weird and as proof of that I'm going to Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu tonight even though I've never watched The Mandalorian 😂

Masters of the Universe was awesome. The only downside was the three dipshits sitting in the same row as us. It seems like someone always has to ruin a great movie by talking and making noise throughout the film. 😒🎬
Got my blood test results back today — HbA1c is 82 mmol/mol. Definitely higher than it should be, but I’ve had worse results in the past.
Diabetic foot ulcers are honestly so exhausting. You do everything you're told — dressings, trying to keep pressure off it, antibiotics, appointments that cost a fortune — and then it starts bleeding again anyway.

Even without pain, the constant stress, bleeding, smell, dressing changes, and worrying about infection is draining. People really underestimate how much chronic wounds affect your day-to-day life.

@Matthew-NC about a year or two ago I had one on the bottom of my big toe for like a year. Every time it got better it would get worse. This new one which is on the same foot 😂 not by the toe though has been here for about 2 months-ish.

@Matthew-NC my partner is always getting abscesses although he's not diabetic. It's known by some funny name that sounds like a dinosaur 😂

I'm no doctor, babe - I don't even play one in the Staff Room! - but even with the complication of diabetes, ask your doctor about whether it could be lymphedema. If it is, that can dealt with and it'll help you heal those wounds.
