Stealing food in order to avoid starvation or wasting food?

Which one and why?

As Dee said. Stealing food to avoid starving is done out of desperation and the natural survival instinct and is therefore justified. But food wastage is criminal when so many are starving including those in the so called civilised West.

Wasting because there are plenty of people who could use it.
I don't know why they fire workers from restaurants eating people's leftover scraps when they're just going into the trash. I don't know what the hurt is.

A lot of food is dangerous if not refrigerated after a certain point. For instance, certain free Italian food for the homeless could be deadly quick.

All sin is against God, so it doesn't matter which is worse. Unless you mean worst in the eyes of mankind?

Jesus spoke of love as being above the law. The prophets also emphasized this.

I mean would Jesus approve of breaking the law to save a baby's life?

Wasting food pisses me off.

I seen some real nice thick cut ribeyes at Save a Lot today but when I looked at the price and seen $45.00 I was like "Well, those are going to end up in the trash with all of the other overpriced quality cuts of beef that most people can't afford"
