Many people believe that moon landings were not real and the government faked every thing. On the other hand, various people believe that moon landings were real, as there are various evidences suggesting that it was real. So, what are your thoughts about this?

Honestly, I’ve always found it a bit silly that people still doubt the moon landings when modern spacecraft from multiple countries have literally taken photos of the landing sites. We’re not talking about NASA showing you something and asking you to “just trust them”; Japan, India, China, and even South Korea have all independently imaged the Apollo sites. These are nations with their own space programs, their own deep‑space networks, and in some cases, their own political motivations that definitely don’t involve helping the U.S. maintain a decades‑old hoax.

I get why some people doubt it, though. You can’t look through a backyard telescope and see the lander sitting there, so for the average person, it’s not something they can verify with their own eyes. But there’s nothing about the Apollo missions that was technologically impossible for the era. If anything, the engineering was brutally straightforward: big rockets, simple computers, and a lot of redundancy. And if you really wanted to spend the money, you could verify it yourself; the landing sites are well‑documented, and private missions are already heading to the Moon.

The part that always seals it for me is this: if the landings were fake, America’s rivals would have been the first to call it out. The Soviet Union was tracking Apollo in real time with their own equipment. They had every incentive to expose a hoax, especially during the Cold War when international prestige mattered enormously. Instead, they confirmed the missions happened.

So when you add it all up, independent photos, independent tracking, physical artifacts, lunar samples, and the complete lack of any geopolitical motive to “play along”, the hoax theory just doesn’t hold up. The evidence is literally sitting on the Moon, and other nations have already gone and photographed it.
