I have in another forum I'm in. There was this English 17 year old and he couldn't even spell I'm. No joke
 
They make me laugh. I can never understand why people make an intro if they have no intention of coming back

I personally don't post an intro without the intentions of being active. I don't know why anyone would introduce themselves to a community that they had no intentions of being a part of as it don't make sense.
 
It happens much I could be on my forum and see someone join and post an intro and be like YES NEW MEMBER than I never see them again

Same here. Sometimes I join a forum just to have a look-around and see what it's like. Otherwise, If I don't plan on being very active, then no, I won't post an introduction and then disappear into thin air or whatever.
 
Ive done it recently. Ive been meaning to go back there but I cant remember the url.

I've done that a few times before myself. It really makes me mad when it happens to be a forum that I really liked and wanted to be active at again.
 
I have seen many people who have left a forum after introducing themselves on forums. This does happen and it commonly happens on forums where there are so many members.
 
Yes, several. I don't know them personally, but I have seen several people who simply posted a welcome message on the forum and then disappeared.
 
I'm probably one of them. But that's because after accessing most of what the forum has to offer, I realized that it wasn't for me... the group and vibes of it all.
 
Sometimes you expect more from the forum than it offers, so you just don't return. And isn't it rude to not introduce yourself anyway? If you walked into a party, you would say Hello, even if you never plan to go to another party again at that same spot?

Lol true, I did this when I got my first account on SheepPatio or whatever the forum is called. Different from a xenforo forum and it was cozy. Saw an ad when browsing 4chan back in the day. Not sure why I never returned even though it was cozy.

True true. I'd say, as an admin, this is to be expected, having hosted a Discord server before where users come and go from time to time.
