    Bumping old threads

    It depends on the relevancy of the post to the conversation. If you have a thread about a specific game, and it gets bumped after 3 years, I don't see anything wrong with it. If it's a thread that's asking for advice for buying something, then I would find that to be a bit extreme.

    Food stamp shaming?

    The difference between food stamps and coupons is that food stamps is a government program where they give X amount of dollars to people to spend on food (it's actually called EBT now, food stamps are the old school term), and, like welfare, comes out of people's tax dollars. It's like a welfare...

    Food stamp shaming?

    I wouldn’t do it to some random person I don’t know, unless they were bragging about it in public. I wouldn’t steal their steak though.

    If a stranger paid for your dinner?

    I wouldn’t call the places I go to pricey, but it’s happened before.

    Food stamp shaming?

    It’s one of those things where you actually have to know the person. Especially if they’re a family member. If you lived in a town that has a huge welfare percentage, people are also pretty loose lipped about how they’re abusing the system. So I personally find it hard to not judge someone if...

    Photoshop Vs. Canva

    People pay more a month on streaming services, on top of having multiple services, and probably don’t regularly watch all of them. Let’s also add on online services for games they also may have multiple of and may not use regularly. So I don’t see how that’s an unrealistic price for the average...

    Materialism vs Minimalism?

    I only find materialism to be detrimental if it’s affecting your life in a negative fashion. Like if it’s a financial strain on you or something like that.

    The Nintendo Wii

    When it was current, the drought of good games between the onslaught of shovelware was annoying. Though now there isn’t a wait, we can remember the good games.

    Photoshop Vs. Canva

    Idk what you’re talking about saying Photoshop requires skills to use. It takes no skill to do basic stuff on there.

    Android -> iOS

    I find the iPhone being for rich people ironic when a lot of the people making the statement usually have a flagship phone that’s either the same price, or more expensive than an iPhone. It’s always funny when someone owning a product that’s viewed as a “luxury product” only owns it to flaunt...
