    The Sims

yeah I just couldn't get into it as much as TS3. Plus TS3 works in linux these days and has a platinum rating on wine. This is making me want to re-install it again and try to build a town from scratch lol.

    The Sims

See this is why I liked the sims 3. At least the world felt alive given it was far more open world than any other version of the game.

Have you ever reported a bad restaurant?

Yes, but not in the way you think... I got tired of constantly getting diet coke when I asked for rootbeer so I wrote to mcdonalds corporate. I discovered recently that after that they installed an automated soda machine which is why they stopped making that mistake. it fills the soda based on...

Do you get along with your neighbors?

It's really hard to find non HOA properties these days. Most developments institute them to try and keep the development to a set image and cities encourage it because it helps cut down maintenance costs for things in the development by having the neighborhood pay for it. fortunately most...

    Were your parents abusive?

I appreciate it. but that was over 25 years ago. It made me stronger, better. Though I'm sure there are after effects from it.

Do you get along with your neighbors?

Mostly yeah... unfortunately the neighbor across the street from me is a Karen even if her husband is usually pretty friendly. She's part of a gossipy group with the ones on either side of their house... I've been keeping them at bay by giving them something to gossip about what with me...

    Were your parents abusive?

Let me tell you about my monster of a father. I only knew him for a year but he was a true monster. When I was four I was taken away from the only family I'd ever known, my grandparents. They were raising me at the time and the state couldn't do much about it. I was taken away across...

Is your worst enemy still in your life?

Unfortunately mine still lives... not that I can do much about it... but when they die I plan to desicrate their grave after getting away with all the evil they did thanks to political bullcrap.

    Marry the character you played?

Oh gods... Duke nukem 0_o womanizing action hero filled with tons of 90's angst. But that's only because I recently got the linux native port of Duke Nukem 3D working so I've been finally playing through it. :P

    Disks vs Downloads?

I prefer discs because I like physical media. I think it's stupid that if a server goes down a game is lost forever (n)

Shower in the morning or in the evenings?

mostly just a fan but from what I understand if you don't bathe before getting into bed it's taboo and generally frowned upon. something about sleeping covered in the sweat and detritus of the day.

    Why Study The Sciences?

Ironically enough while science may not be able to prove god exists... yet. It can make biblical miracles happen. For example... the dead sea is highly salty. that makes it incredibly dense and so under the right conditions one could walk on it. Water into wine? just add powder. burning...

Are you a fan of leftovers?

I try to plan for leftovers to spread a meal out over several days... it's cost efficient. but not everything is better as leftovers... Lentil soup, pea soup, these make great mutli-day meals because you can change it up by adding ingredients for very little.

Shower in the morning or in the evenings?

well they do help with relaxing muscles. in japan though it has more to do with the bathing culture. communal baths much like in ancient Greece are still common there and so to keep contamination to a minimum. That then transitioned over to how private baths are used and makes some sense.

    Lock picking

Can confirm lol. fairly straightforward to learn with practice, but not something to tell people irl unless a situation comes up.
