  1. Text Message Abbreviations

    It is annoying when overdone but I see no problem with seeing text talk occasionally. I sometimes use brb, idk, btw, and a few others, but I don't do it often. I typically use these abbreviations in instant messages such as skype, MSN, etc. And not on forums and certainly not in formal emails or...

  2. Staff Demotions

    Well it depends... If the staff member was fired, it should be kept between that person and the staff. There's no reason to make it public. However, if the staff member retired due to time constraints, and that person is okay with having an 'Enjoy retirement' topic in the community matters...

  3. Forum Romance

    There are two members of my forum that are now boyfriend and girlfriend. They weren't together when they joined, but they did already know each other on the internet. I have never been in an internet relationship with anyone, nor have I ever met with anyone I know from forums. I doubt I ever will.

  4. Staff Overkill

    That's way too many staff members to have. With that many active members, you should really only have 2-3 staff members, because there is no need for more. Having that many would turn me away as well. There should really only be one moderator for every 20 or so active members.

  6. Fines for wrong weather forecasts?

    Wow that really is ridiculous. They're are just predicting the weather, no one can be sure of what the weather will be. It's not like they're lieing to you, they were just wrong about the weather, no one should be fined for such a silly thing.

  7. Cans

    I don't have much canned food. I have canned tuna, canned baked beans, and canned cat food. I prefer fresh food because it's healthier. Most food I eat is fresh or frozen.

  8. 2012 Movies

    Men in black 3 and The Hunger Games. Both look awesome and I'm really looking forward to them. The Hunger Games book was good so I'm looking forward to finding out if the movie is as good.

  9. Bike Riding

    I like to go bike riding sometimes. I don't go too often any more, about once per month. My tire is flat right now so I haven't been in a while.

  10. Procrastinating

    I have a presentation due tomorrow that I've done almost nothing on. I'm procrastinating on that and a few other things for school. I need to make some lunch soon as well.

  11. Too young to be an admin?

    Age has nothing to do with anything. If you are mature enough to run a forum age really does not matter. I am only 15 and have managed to keep a forum going for almost 2 years now.

  12. Hiring staff

    How do you decide who to hire? Do you use applications, or approach a member you think would do a good job? I do not use applications, usually the best staff member is a good dedicated member already so I approach the person I think would be best.

  13. Mouse VS Keyboard

    Which do you think is more important, the mouse or the keyboard? I think the mouse is more important, because I could use speech recognition instead of a keyboard. What do you think?

  14. Checking if its locked

    I always check the door is locked. I'm kind of OCD about it, if I lock the door and get to the end of the driveway and realize I didn't check I will walk back.

  15. Car or Internet?

    I'd choose internet. There are plenty of other ways of transportation, it's not like there are other internets.

  16. How often do you drink soda?

    How often do you drink soda? I usually drink it maybe once or twice a week. I don't get it often compared to a lot of people. So how much do you drink?

    I love ribs! Every time we eat out I get ribs. Every time.

  18. Memorable Teachers

    My grade 9 geography teacher. That class was so much better with him as a teacher than any other geography teacher.

  20. Young Admin's

    I am 15, and founder/admin of a popular gaming forum. I don't think the age makes any difference at all, teens can be as mature or even more mature than older administrators. I've run into some pretty bad adult admins as well.
