Pregnant mum fired from restaurant after refusing to repay cash stolen by robbers

Wait. What? She is entitled to take the $400.00 (which the owner uses to pay for the food that's served, the electricity to prepare the food, the rent for the roof under which they serve the food, and the wages of those who bring the food to the patrons) because she thwarted someone else's...

Mum suing police for ‘stripping dead daughter and taking photos’ after crash

There was a case here in the U.S. a few years back where EMTs were charged with doing the exact same thing. Apparently, it's not as unusual a pass-time of MANY an EMTer as one would like to believe...taking nude photos of deceased female crash victims and sharing them with each other, later...

    New Project Community Manager/partner required

This site allows/welcomes these types of posts in this and other forums; from what I've gathered, this site was created for/is heavily populated by forum administrators, who freely discuss their other projects and welcome participation/feedback about those other sites. IMHO no, stuarth's not...

A Human Catapult Launches People Off A Bridge

No, I wouldn't do it. Does Mr. Bell allow people to sign up others for the experience? If so, I know several people I'd like to catapult off a bridge, whether they actually want to go or not. I'd be willing to pay double the normal fee, as a matter of fact. :halo2:

    Will never do again

Allow myself to be in a "long distance relationship". Though it ended well (we ended up being together for 10+ years), the first 9 months of being in it from 1000+ miles away were absolute hell.

    Customers Suck

The man who taught me this business told me 30+ years ago: "Always remember: you're fucking with people where they live. People don't like to be fucked with, where they live." Moving is a major life stressor, whether it's for bad reasons (divorce, empty-nesting, foreclosure, etc.) OR good...

    Vengeful ex

He forgot to tell me we'd broken up. A guy I'd been dating for about 5 months (and who had *oddly* moved pretty much all of his belongings into my home during that time) met another woman with whom he started spending all of his time. It took him about a month to figure out he wanted to move...

    Vengeful ex

OMG!!! I'm sure a psychologist trained in the Freudian school, would have had a field day breaking down the *subliminal* messages of THAT nifty little planned attack.

Granddad shot dead burglar who tried to rape his 19-year-old granddaughter

My thoughts? I agree. Though I don't really much care if the burly blokes they'll be rooming with are "desperate for sex" or merely "curious about gay sex", as long as the burly blokes give it to them often. I also hope the burly blokes are the type who like it rough. :D

    For The Females

Sunglasses. A smirk. A business suit. Jeans and a t-shirt. Nothing. Apparently, I'm easily pleased (read: turned-on).

Woman was not impressed when her boyfriend cheated on her

Agreed, whoflung. The best "revenge" is to go on to living a perfectly happy life, without them. Recognizing, acknowledging, or - in this case - broadcasting it - simply lets the cheater know you still care enough to notice - and be affected - by what they did *to* you.

Rescued Tigers Swim For The First Time

Poor, unbridled joy for at least one of them, huh? Did you notice the difference of their behavior while in their cages from when they were first taken away (when found in Buffalo), to now? WOW. That spoke volumes about the level of care they're now receiving. Thanks for sharing it, Jazzy!

Thousands march in US capital against gay marriage

I wonder how many of the March's participants, especially those carrying the signs, "A Child Needs a Father and a Mother", are divorced and/or have children they don't pay support for. I also wonder how many of these *activists* are equally involved in movements to stop domestic...

Michigan woman charged with murder for sealing newborn in plastic at office

There is no excuse for this, given there are plenty methods of birth control available, plenty of adoption agencies, a "Safe Delivery" program in place, and that abortion is [still] legal, at this time. With these factors in mind, she should be tried and convicted and serve the same prison time...

    Sick of seeing

The formulatic "Guy's an asshole, Asshole Guy meets Sweet Girl and treats Sweet Girl like shit, Sweet Girl's love *saves* Asshole Guy and turns him into A Great Guy"; too many people are incapable of separating fact from fiction and get groomed into believing that's the way *It* works.
