Does a shout/chat box ruin a forum?
I don't like it at the top of the page either, and definitely not on every page. I seldom post in any shoutbox regardless though, so that's a big reason why I don't like it in my face all the time. Bottom of the index is a nice placement, you can still find it easily but you don't have to see...- Geoffrey

Does a shout/chat box ruin a forum?
Can a shoutbox be good for a forum? Does it add to the forum or does it tend to take away, and distract, from the forum more? When you are on a forum with a shoutbox, do you use it?- Geoffrey
