    Awaiting moderator approval

That sounds pretty messed up. Moderator approval is something I can understand for guest posts, new member posts, posts in controversial boards, etc., but forum wide is quite frankly ridiculous. With one moderator, I have to wonder how the place even could possibly stay active. :P

    Warning System

The warning system can be useful for some forums. I am a moderator at a forum host's support forum, and I have to say, some people blatantly refuse to follow the rules no matter how many times they are reminded. The warning system saves a lot of time because you don't have to spend time sending...

    Best free forums for beginner?

That's 10 dollars for unlimited exports for the month. A little pricey for hosting, but the point is that the export prices are very reasonable in comparison to other free hosts. :P

    Best free forums for beginner?

Icyboards is nice because unlimited database exports can be created and downloaded for the $10/month icyboards premium plans (which also include advertisement removal and extra attachment space). Most free hosts have a lock in policy that prevents you from easily moving your forum if you choose...

    phpBB 3.1

That is a lot of traffic indeed. I know I'm very particular about keeping server load down as much as possible because it's hard to make money off of advertisements. Even with a highly optimized, custom server install with nginx instead of apache, efficient software, etc., hundreds of active...

    Incredible realistic drawing

That's pretty impressive. The 3D feel to it, the reflections, and shadows are especially impressive. I don't know how people manage to draw this stuff. :P Now I want one... :P

Jobs that SHOULD be done by robots

    Hmm... waiting tables? :P

Upgraded my Rig. What is yours?

Dude... I am jealous of that CPU haha. I have a little dual core 3.1 GHZ mobile i5. It's a haswell, so that's a plus. It works very well for two cores, but sometimes I need more juice. :P

    Delete button

Gosh, that's probably a tough one. There is of course a lot of stuff that goes without saying, and I'm going to add unethical crawlers to that list. (Websites that steal and sell your content) As for the less obvious stuff, trolls? I guess I'm the kind of guy who just doesn't visit a website if...

    Never forget

I'm not terribly big on relationships at this point either. I'll know when I find the right one, but right now I'm simply too busy between college and work, and it just isn't the right time for me. I almost feel like it'd be selfish to try to push for a relationship too soon. :P

    Re-Read Posts

Generally, the larger the post is, the more I'll proofread it. (Yes, I proofread this post. :P)

Why Any Decent Website Doesn't Know Your Password

I'm always intrigued by stuff like this. It's actually not hard to do at all. Any company that doesn't do this is not from this century, that's for sure. :P

Post your desktop (or other wallpapers)

RE: Post your desktop I can see you using that for your background... Nice desktop. :D Gnome 3 isn't bad with a few tweaks and exensions (click image for full size). :D

    Hey guys :)

:w3: Good god Nebulous, you have like 600 smilies on here... :P

    Linux

I'm using Ubuntu right now, and love it. Both Unity and Gnome 3 are pretty good. I'm currently using Gnome 3, because Gnome 3 is pretty freaking awesome once you get some good extensions and tweak it up a bit. So much better than Windows 8 for a "modern interface" it's not even funny. At least...

    Garage Sales

LOL, $20 for a doll? Wow. I once got not one, but two computers for $10 at a garage sale once. Granted, the CPUs were like 175mhz, but hey, that's not a half bad deal for someone like me who likes nostalgic stuff. Not sure I'd buy it now, but this was a good while ago.

    Garage Sales

I've done them before, without much success. I have a lot of old stuff I don't really use anymore, but I'm not gonna go sell my old stereo for $10, even if it is pretty crappy. I mean, these things hold memories. I'd rather give them away to people who need them than sell them for $10. I...

    Forum Failure

To be honest, I've noticed that some of the most inexperienced administrators often end up creating the best communities in the long run. Of course this isn't a trend that can be generalized too much, but honestly, it makes sense. Inexperienced admins are far more worried about creating a place...
