    HD, 4K, 8K - what’s next?

It’s silly 8K is out, but 4K isn’t common. Guess it shows how quickly the prices for the display technology went down faster than the technology to produce it.

    School Shootings

Part of the reason why nothing changes, is that politicians and the public get worked up for like a week or so after the shooting (I’m being hyperbolic with the time). Then they basically forget about it, and restart the cycle when the next one happens.

Printer won't work with Win 11

Tbh, those office multi-function network printers are even worse than the ones people have at home. You think people wouldn't have issues connecting to it when everything is hard-wired to the network? LOL! you thought wrong! I managed the printer server, and you can have 4 of the same exact...

Printer won't work with Win 11

Yeah, there’s a huge list of things that could be the culprit, and Windows 11 may or may not be the problem. I know when people get a new computer with a new version of Windows, they immediately blame it on the new Windows. Another thing to note, is that printers are inherently terrible...

Printer won't work with Win 11

Maybe the drivers haven’t been compatible with Windows 11? Also, what’s telling you it’s not supported? The installer for the driver or what? What’s telling you the error can help diagnose the problem, because the error by itself is vague.

What causes damage to some of the old game cartridges?

Tbh, they’re pretty hard to damage, unless you leave them in a very humid environment. Just a little bit of Brasso, and all of my carts still work.

Do you buy anime on disc?

    I own quite a few.

    Fridge with the latest tech?

I just want my fridge to be a fridge. It’s an appliance you’re supposed to keep until it stops working.

    DSL or Wi-Fi?

My apartment has CAT5 ports in some walls, so if I can hardwire it, I do it.

    Should Vaccines be Mandatory?

That makes sense if you have a specific allergy. Or some other outlying medical condition, which varies from person to person. Outside of religious reasons, most of the opposition I see is from people who get their information from some sketchy site, and they push some goofy fear mongering stuff.

    Paying for computer repair

Hook it up to your TV or another monitor before you get another graphics card. Also I would check other inputs to see if it’s the HDMI port that got damaged somehow.

    Should Vaccines be Mandatory?

If it's common and easily preventable, I don't see why not. I'd also like to see an opinion from an actual doctor on why we shouldn't, as most of the opposition is put forward from people who are usually conspiracy theorist types with zero credibiliity on medicine.

    Paying for computer repair

Most common cause of that problem is the cable. Try replacing the cable.

How often do you do a hard shut down on your pc?

What do you mean by company update? Replacing the computers or updating the software? If it's the latter, it's totally pointless to shut it down, as it won't get the update if it's shut down.

How often do you do a hard shut down on your pc?

I think you missed my point. I’m talking about how computers have a restart function alongside a shut down function, and how they’re two different functions. Restarting is when it does a quick reboot of your computer, and shut down completely powers it off. When there’s a system update, your...

How often do you do a hard shut down on your pc?

Those are restarts, which is very different than shutting down for a computer. You can’t push updates to a computer that’s shut down either.

How often do you do a hard shut down on your pc?

The only major benefit of shutting it down when not in use is wasting electricity, but that depends on if you disabled sleep mode, or the computer draws a ton of power on idle. Also heat generation in your room if you sleep in the same room.

Should some dog breeds be banned?

Yeah, I have a few friends with pit bulls, and they’re all cuddle buddies. “Please pet me, please pet me”, and whining the whole time. So scary

Should some dog breeds be banned?

Most of the “dangerous” breeds are due to shitty owners. Pit bulls are actually giant babies.
