    It’s pointless and detrimental on an SSD. Even with HDD’s, with technology, it’s not as necessary as before. It wouldn’t hurt, but you won’t notice a difference.

    Tbh, with how the dark net works, you have to actually know the links to the sites. So it’s incredibly easy to not see the illegal stuff. Everyone who doesn’t know how it works all think it’s all illegal shady stuff.

    The thing about trading is because of tariffs, and you end up being reliant on another country for whatever that thing is. If you owned the production of said thing, you’ll be self sufficient, have cheaper access to it, and not be at the whim of another country. Just look at the war in Ukraine...

    That doesn’t sound like your ISP is the one zapping your internet. It just sounds like your network doesn’t have enough bandwidth to handle everyone in your house at a desirable speed.

    Sadly there’s also a crappy in-between range for paychecks where you make too much money to qualify for food stamps/welfare, but not enough to fully live comfortably.

    It's not unusual for people on food stamps to have jobs. They just work a job that doesn't pay enough, and those tend to be the low skilled jobs. Even less unusual for them to have a job while getting food stamps if they have kids as well.

    Never happened on my site, but I’ve seen a few places where moderators were either on power trips, or ran people off just because they didn’t like the user(s).

    Nah, there isn’t really anything interesting on it. Also needing to install Tor and how you can’t browse it like the surface web, it’s more of a pain for nothing interesting.

    I think the difficulty now is more "fair" than NES games. Me dying now is due to my lack of skill, whereas some of those hard NES games were hard for the wrong reasons. Not to include how cryptic some of those games were. Don't have Nintendo Power? Good luck figuring things out.

    It depends on the situation. If the kids are by themselves at home, they need a cell phone for you to contact them.     I think a lot of the folks who are on the political extremes treat political parties like a sports team where it’s ride or die.     There’s probably some server hardware that only install via CD’s, or as a backup solution if you can’t PXE boot or install via USB.

    Bad Moderators

    I ended up leaving that forum I mentioned earlier. Most forums I leave is mostly due to the forum being inactive, but that’s the second time I left because of the staff. A forum with hot headed moderators who like shutting down users for not agreeing with them is an amazing place to be.

    Do you get alerts on your phone?

    Outside of emails and texts, the only one I have is for my mailbox. My apartment uses something called parcel pending, so if Amazon drops a package in there, I get a text to check the mailbox.
