    How do you prefer to pay for purchases?

    Credit cards, whenever possible. Even if the retailer charges a 3% fee or whatever, I'll eat that. I haven't carried cash in ages.

    Yeah, we really explored moving to the beach, but even if you're a little bit inland, one hurricane can ruin everything. Not to mention the cost of home insurance has become astronomical. Few can afford the insurance itself.

    Planning on spending more time outdoors. Need to put our kayaks to use. Plus I've got a basketball goal still in the box sitting in the garage that I need to set up.

    Panic when the market drops?

    I don't panic sell, but I did close my positions on a number of stocks a little bit after Trump took office. I'm glad I did. The market will swing back and maybe I'll look like a fool at some point, but I wasn't in a position where I could sit around and wait for the backswing. You never know...

    Should retailers be closed for every major holiday?

    I was a retail employee for many years, and I hated having to work Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. I always felt like everything should be closed, at least on those two holidays.
