Technically they can learn to read before they speak. However most people don't think to teach a baby to read before it learns to speak. What Languages Did You Learn In School?
Get this, my elementary school teaches Chinese, then when you get to Middle school you get Spanish one semester and French the next. When you get to High school you choose from Spanish, French, or Sign. Wouldn't it make much more sense to have the kids stick to one language!?- Kahnai

Wisdom teeth
