    The problem I have seen is this...it's usually the person that is guilty of something that screams smear campaign. If the info is false, then it is a smear, if the info is true, then the people have a right to know...Don't they?

    I don't think it should be mandatory, but I do think there should be some kind of intelligence test..Some of the people that vote aren't capable of stringing two intelligent sentences together, and they can decide the fate of our country.
