    Not necessarily true, I have fine social skills, and I am home schooled. Like others said, it depends on the parent(s) teaching the child or children. If you start out home schooling, then yeah, you'll need to get your kid some friends, somehow.

    The real question is why are there no same sex prom dates? This is supposed to be the land of the free, a country that promotes freedom and liberty for all, along with the pursuit of happiness. I don't think this really holds up those values very well.
