    You need to do more advertising. On a wide variety of forums. NOt just here.

    I usually only do perma bans. I don't do temp. If you screw up 3 times you're gone. Immediate bans is racism, spamming, etc.

    Admin on ZG and a regular member on other forums. I don't like being staff at other forums unless it's Admin or higher and I will not take more than 1 admin job.

    I agree. Some may not work as effectively. But when you visit X amount of sites and all those sites show your link, it may tempt you to join. I've ran large forums in the past and those are some of the strategies I've used. I used to never venture out side of the IF/ZB network until...

    They are both very important to me. First off, something on the forum has to attract me before I join. It needs to look nice. If after I join, the content sucks, then I'm gone.

    I think anything above 10 seconds is rediculous. I hate those 30 seconds flood control. It's annoying.

    Make use of social networking sites. Twitter and Facebook for example.

    Advertise. Advertise. Advertise. Join forums that offer reviews, feedback, link exchange and affiliations. I also started working with Twitter recently. I don't know how well that will go.
