    Future Handhelds

A lot of it was truancy. There’s a video of their CEO laughing at the iPhone and not seeing it as a threat. Oof It wasn’t until after Android has been out until Microsoft revamped the Windows Mobile line. It’s rare in the tech world when a latecomer is very successful.

Is there an electronic product you want these days?

I slowly built up my hardware and software, so I'm good on that end. I wouldn't mind even nicer guitars than what I already have, but they're perfectly fine. My guitars are good enough to where you couldn't tell I was using sub $1000 anyway. I just wouldn't mind an even nicer computer, but I'll...

Do you always believe what people say about themselves online?

That’s the irony of people trying too hard to look smart. It has the opposite effect.

Do you always believe what people say about themselves online?

Basically, though I think this guy was also trying to ad "validity" to whatever nonsense he was making up whenever he talked about stuff.

Do you always believe what people say about themselves online?

Who knows. He was one of those know it all types, so that was his “ackshually” schpeal. “I do this for a living, it’s part of my job”, but they were rarely (if ever) in the same field.

    Creating your own games

That, and games that just aren’t very good, because you can also just as easily crap out a mostly functioning game. Thats why the software has a bad reputation. It’s like a landfill of bad games made with no effort. Which is a shame when the software is very powerful.

Tanium is one of the worst ones. It takes whatever CPU resources you’re not using, and then maxes it out to 100. It doesn’t matter what you’re using. You’re trying to do work on a maxed out CPU, and everything freezes up.

    Creating your own games

That’s one of the pros and cons with RPG Maker, anyone can make a game with the software.

    Future Handhelds

What I thought was really pathetic with Microsoft making phones, was that they made Windows phones for several years before the first iPhone came out. First they got beat by Blackberry, then they got beat by Apple and Google. So Windows Phones really just died a ridiculously slow death.

Tbh a lot of the software is cybersecurity related, though it seems like a lot of it falls under “performance be damned, at least the information is protected”.

    Future Handhelds

The PSP and Vita were pretty neat handhelds. Too bad Sony screwed up the marketing on the Vita, which ended up causing a negative feedback loop for it.

    Dell Computers

We have some at work, they'd be nice if they were used in a normal situation, but there are so many group policies and stuff installed on them that their RAM and CPU's are maxed to the point of them being almost useless.

    Creating your own games

10 years ago I messed around in RPG maker VX and XP. It was a fun project, but I never finished them.
