    Gun Control

Regardless of the recent incident. I think there should absolutely be mandatory gun education/safety class or classes that must be taken prior to gun ownership (same as with driving a car). Also, there should be limitations on what kind of weapons may be owned (assault weapons etc.)...

    one of Spain's white elephants

Or there are just tough choices to be made and it's impossible to make everyone happy. It seems to me there are good reasons to put the track and station on either side of the city. At some point a decision must be made.

    Rich getting poorer

Damn, I read it as 100,000 euros. So it's more like a 0.25% paycut.

Why is that? They aren't similar in any way at all. Seems like you're grasping at straws here to support your opposition to something entirely beneficial. You are ridiculous. It's pathetic that the United States doesn't have high-speed rail already. They would get tons of business up and down...

    Music With A Message

Yep, hip-hop has definitely been homophobic, misogynistic, and hyper-masculine for a long time. I've listened to basically everything Macklemore has put out, I'm not a crazy fan, but he has some great stuff. I'm from Seattle, so everyone here knows him and I've seen him live twice and will be...

    Music With A Message

A local Seattle artist who's starting to make it big recently released a song in support of marriage equality in Washington. Coming out of the hip-hop genre, it's really amazing to hear this kind of a well-tempered, sincere voice pushing for progress. Give the song a listen, it's worth it...

    DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODicans

Mitt Romney did not leave Bain in 1999. According to SEC filings, he was the CEO, president, and sole owner up until 2002 and then at that point he resigned retroactively back to 1999 (whatever the fuck that means).

    DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODicans

Nope, the Republicans are getting far far more super pac money. Romney is pulling in so much money it's ridiculous.

    Grab Your Pitchforks!

Well almost everybody. But not to the same degree and there are a few who still stand on principle. Feingold and Conyers are good examples.
