    Does God exist?

As a British person, I have no idea what a "scozzer" is. Unless you mean "Scouser" which is a term used for people from Liverpool.

Things that you need to get done

Homework. The company I work for is putting me through a management training course, and I just can't get up the energy to do the modules yet. Don't need it done until next month, but still.

When You Can't Get Through Writer's Block

I get it a lot. It is the main reason I have about 30 projects on the go at the moment. I hit a wall on one, but suddenly an idea for GREAT NEW STORY appears, so I work on that for a bit. Then I hit a wall again. But then AMAZING IDEA, so on and so forth.

Muhammed is Britain's most popular boy's name

Bullshit. Taking into account different spellings doesn't fly. If that were the case, my given name (Caitlin) would probably top the girls charts by nature if its various spellings. Caitlyn, Caitlinn, Caitlynn, Katelyn, Katelin, etc etc. That said, the statistic just goes to show the cultural...

How much do you pay for shoes?

It varies. Some of my "going out" shoes are in the £100+ range, as are some of my leather boots. My motorcycle boots cost around £180. My work shoes were £30 in a 50% off sale. My generic trainers were I think £45ish.

How much do you spend on your mobile a month?

I generally spend £10 a month. I'm on pay-as-you-go, as I don't use my phone often enough to warrant a contract. I don't see the point in paying £30+ a month when nine times out of ten I wouldn't use what that £30 would give me. I think so far this month I've sent about 12 texts, and spent...

Michael Brown shooting: Vigil for dead teen turns violent

Yes. Because the potential use of unlawful force (Remember the jury's still out on that one) is sad, but in the end it's one ruined life. Compared to 12 businesses wrecked, and goodness knows how many employees who could wind up adding a statistic to those unemployment rates everyone's so...

    Music Nowadays...

I think music comes in cycles. When I was a kid there was N*Sync (One Direction), Aaron Carter (Justin Bieber), Usher was a kid who sang R&B love songs instead of a pseudo-gangster rapping about niggaz and weed, etc. Britney Spears did some very Gaga-esque things. The music of today is really...

What Facebook photos say about someone's personality

I think it suffers from what I call "Commercial Complex". You know how commercials for washing-up liquid, makeup, etc. all say things like "87% of 213 people agree". It's a biased survey and the amount of people they surveyed is far too small to actually... matter.

If you had to choose a movie to be on replay for 24 hours....

None of the above. When I was in hospital, you could sort of 'rent' movies on the TVs there. I rented Madagascar and watched it eight times. So I'll pick that.

The Last of Us - Remastered

It was okay. Not amazing. From a cinematic and story point of view, I've played better. From a gameplay standard, it was basically Uncharted in a post-apocalyptic world. They even ripped a lot of character movements from the Uncharted series. The multiplayer was lackluster, and matchmaking was...

    Customers Suck

Every single fucking day. Especially today. Our internet at work went down, which meant no credit cards, no cellphone topups, no gas/electric, no TV licences, no Collect+, no lottery... very annoying. And many, many people getting snarky with bullshit like "I don't carry cash" Not my fucking...

Tropical Storm Threatens UK's Sizzling Summer

Apparently we got it early where I am. Walked home in the rain, and it was so heavy you can barely see in front of you. Definitely glad I wasn't driving.

Man Posing For Gun Selfie Dies After Firearm Goes Off

At least he got a good shot.

11,472,000 Americans Have Left Workforce Since Obama Took Office

When they say "16 and over" does that mean students who are still in full-time education are counted? When they say "16 and over" do they include the recently-retired? There's too little information. There's a lot of numbers, but the necessary information that should be alongside them is...

    Ariz. execution a "bollocks-upped situation"

If I recall correctly, he was a multiple murderer. Should we really care about the manner in which someone with no respect for life ends theirs?

Children Exposed To Religion Have Difficulty Distinguishing Fact From Fiction

I'm not really surprised. Religion tends to revolve around fictitious tales told as fact.

Is Religion a Force for Good?

I believe religion can be used for good. I just don't believe it's used for good. It appears to be used most commonly to fearmonger and inspire hatred. However, I also believe it was initially created as a control mechanism. In dark times when fear runs rampant, any explanation will do, no...

    Afterlife

From a scientific standpoint, the afterlife is just your cells and atoms drifting away and becoming something new. Or something like that. In a way, I hope there is an afterlife. Crushing darkness is a depressing thing to have coming for you, but oh well.
