    It didn't work. I've seen more total BS from both sides since the election than there was before. Apparently not only is Trump going to take away all the rights women have, he's going to do away with the voting rights bill and declare himself emperor.

    When you look at the demographics, in spite of what our friend said earlier, she lost support across the board, and those of an ethnic bent supported Trump in numbers that the more strident of the Off Topix members will never admit to.

    This democracy has survived that little bump in the 1860s, it survived the Red Scare, and Nixon's "plumbers", it has survived "Machine Politics" in places like Louisiana and Chicago and whatever you want to call that mess in NYC.... It'll survive this.

    It wasn't an election of Trump, it was a rejection of Biden/Harris and the prices people are seeing in the grocery stores. Yes. A lot of it was exactly that simple. "Are you better off now than four years ago?"
