    To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Yeah, I know, I've mentioned this book before, but it's great. It gives keen insight into sterotypes and prejudice. It's set in the Southern US, but it relates to anywhere. Instead of dealing with white trash and blacks. Maybe think about the sterotypes...
