Definitely Freddy Krueger from the list. I've actually had random nightmares about him after watching those movies.

Norman Bates from Psycho. He's a bit of geeky nerdy type but not someone you would peg as a serial killer, then the knife comes down. Of that list, Annie Wilkes. I don't necessarily find overtly supernatural or imaginary beings that scary (subtler ones, like in The Haunting of Hill House, are another story) but out of that list the Xenomorph and The Other Mother (though I haven't seen the film version of Coraline,so that's based on Neil Gaiman's original novel).

and: Gaear Grimsrud (Peter Storemare) ......... a lesser known actor in Fargo (the movie); really scary half-wit bad guy who feeds his "boss" to a huge wood chipper.
