So, with the year coming to a close, I guess we may be looking over the events the past 12 months have brought.

Here were some major events from this year, globally and personally.

- Barrack Obama goes into office as the 44th President and the 1st African American President of the United States of America.

- Black Saturday Bushfires in country Victoria, killing nearly 200 people, a very sad day, it was the biggest death toll in Australia during peace time.

- The death of one of the most influential music talents, Michael Jackson.

- The death of the greatest Infomercial Guy ever, Billy Mays.

- The death of the 70's sex symbol, Farrah Fawcett. She will forever be known as the only person to have better hair than Johnny Bravo.

- The Simpsons celebrate 20 years of their 'Full Length' show.

- After 10 years, Rove ends his show.

- Oprah announces that her show will end too.

- A not so wise man said, Beyonce had one of the greatest videos of all time!

- We saw Beatles Day, on 09/09/09.

- The 50th anniversary of the death of Buddy Holly, one of the biggest names in Rock and Roll history.

- The 70th Anniversary of the start of World War II

- It has been announced that the 2016 Olympic Games will be held in Rio Dijanero.

- Swine Flu break out.

- Dashing celebrates it's 5th birthday. XD

- I turned 18

- I saw The Pussycat Dolls and Lady Gaga in concert (I'll be seeing Lady Gaga again in March as well).

- Starting University

- Meeting some great new people

- Catching up with some great people who I've lost contact with

- Entering my first bar... a karaoke bar... for a friend's 19th birthday

- Making peace with my brother, which probably wouldn't have happened if he didn't move away

- Hannah being haunted by Katie... lulz.

- All the little things that have made me laugh throughout the year

- New Super Mario Bros Wii

- The Beatles: Rock Band

So yes, that was the year, for me and the world, in a nutshell. How about you?
