Do you know what kind of madness can result from that?'

You could end up with Ted Nugent on top of the ticket.

Come to think of it, that's not a bad idea.

Who would you want to emerge from that sort of convention floor bloddbath?

And don't say Sarah Palin. Even half drunk convention delegates who haven't had a meal or a shower in two days wouldn't stoop that low.

Which in particular?

Signing NDAA and Panetta defending assassination of US citizens?

The administration came out today and committed to vetoing any proposal that would extend the Bush tax cuts for the top 2% of wage earners. This makes me very happy.

I was referring to his back flip on birth control and his ongoing dance around the Syrian issue.

But anyway, people forget that we could elect a combination of Solomon / Gandhi / Stalin/ and Mick Jagger... and they would STILL have to work with those assholes in Congress to get anything done.

Somehow I don't really see it mattering as it seems Congress has hogtied whoever is president into doing what they want or risk being seen as doing nothing. Isn't that what the congress has been doing to Obama for the past four years?

No.

You forget.

Mr. O had a Democratic House and Senate for his first two years, and the only thing Congress managed to do was to accept their automatic pay raise.

Then THE PEOPLE got all pissed off, and the Democrats lost control of the House and almost lost the Senate, and those scum sucking lowlife flaming assclowns STILL can't do anything except cash their own paychecks.

Even the screeching nutjob Tea Partiers have become ... ... Politicians ... once on Capitol Hill.

Perhaps they are doing nothing because that's in fact what they all want to do and they just take turns as the savior so they can keep the ruse going as they have been for decades? I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case as I doubt there is many who really think this government is working for the people anymore.

And now comes the question.... who will be Romney's running mate?

The obvious choices are Rick Perry, John Huntsman, and perhaps Governor Daniels of Indiana.

A longshot but still interesting choice would be Dr. Paul.

If he wants to lose the race in November, Gingrich.

If he wants to lose the race in november?

All of those sound like terrible running mates.

Paul could prove interesting.

And that if was from the mild supporter of Mr. Obama.

Right now in most national polls of likely voters the President is within the margin of error against any and all Republican challengers.

So the race really is too close to call, but I still give the edge to Mr. O as the incumbant (the 'devil you know' as it were) in the General Election.
