[font=ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Wayne Corkhill, 23, told the little girl she was ‘gorgeous’ and invited her to his flat for ‘cuddles’ after trying to befriend the girl on Facebook, Preston Crown Court heard.

[font=ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Corkhill, who was on bail waiting to be sentenced for a string of sex offences when he made contact with the young girl, was unaware he was actually messaging the girl’s father.

[font=ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]The father made it clear his daughter was only 10-years-old but the pedophile continued regardless, the court heard.

[font=ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Corkhill, from Blackpool, Lancashire, was given an extended sentence of six years and seven months behind bars after pleading guilty to five charges of sexual activity with a child, plus two of meeting a child following sexual grooming and one of attempting to a meet a child following grooming.

It is just so sad, that the streets are no longer safe for a child....Nor are their homes...

I read in the paper a couple of days ago, that a Father heard noise in the front room of his home in the wee hours of the morning.....He looked out his bedroom window, and saw a stranger, carrying his young daughter across the front yard....He ran downstairs out the front door, and screamed, what are you doing with my daughter? Give her to me now!

The intruder gave him his daughter, then took off running....The Father got a good look at him, and gave a perfect description of what he looked like....He was caught....The girls bedroom was in the basement...The intruder got into her room, by the window, was carrying through the front room to the door, and bumped into something....

I'm thankful, both these sicko's were caught.....
