A Friend, Not A Friend

As I spit at my former friend,

I think,

Why can't friends stay friends,

Why do they mess it up?

Reliable friend doesn't correspond as possible in my mind,

Friends are like batteries,

They only last so long,

Before they go away,

Maybe I'm just unpopular,

Or maybe friends are not friends.
