When a lively young family moves in next door, grumpy widower Otto Anderson meets his match in a quick-witted, pregnant woman named Marisol, leading to an unlikely friendship that turns his world upside down.

Going to watch this one?

Hoping to see this before it leaves the cinema.

This looks charming, I'll definitely try to watch it!

That's why you check the ratings and reviews because it helps you to avoid bad movies. Looks good so far.

Nah, ratings and reviews can be wrong. For example I loved the movie Chappie but it got really bad reviews / ratings when it came out.

I can admit that it's not everything. Sometimes you have a movie that went above and beyond and got good ratings and you have people like me who hated that movie such as Avatar and Twilight. They did good but they just weren't for me.

Agree with Twilight but I loved avatar, thinking of going to see the 2nd one again before it leaves the theater.

I think when I use the ratings over all, it has nothing to do with whether or not someone or myself liked or disliked a movie that came out over a decade ago. It's just a tool that I use that helps me choose the more popular films to watch over the ones that are not.

For me I don't need to be selective because I have an unlimited pass to my local theater so all the movies are free for me, I usually just go see everything that's playing.

(well not really free, there is the $25 monthly fee for the pass).

Does it pay for everyone or just you?
Just me. @tonychu has a pass too and pays for his. The movie theater app allows you to connect accounts with a friend and we added each other. This allows the connected accounts to purchase 2 tickets at a time.

Often times I'll get 2 tickets to a movie and take my daughter instead of him (even though I am not technically supposed to do that). He does the same thing with his mom. When they scan tix at the door they don't verify names or seem to care. :P

Sometimes I wonder how they stay in business. Lol

Such a great movie

So touching. You'll laugh, you'll cry. You'll be moved. Go see it!
