Don't ask a woman out without getting to know them well beforehand. Too many times I thought women were into me just because they were nice people, turns out they had no interest in me whatsoever.

Speaking of that, being married and staying with my ex wife continued to cause my problems to get worse. When I divorced her, most of those issues were gone.
