A New Business Venture For Me!

Several weeks ago I had to drop a friend off at the local airport here. I noticed they didn't have any luggage carts for the passengers. I put a bid in to the airport and the city board of directors to supply the airport with luggage carts. The vote was brought up in a meeting last night and they all voted unanimously YES to give my company the business. I will now be setting up a luggage cart rental area within the airport. Funny how you see something and then it pops in your head a way to start up a business. This will be my fourth business venture and I love being my own boss!

No. I will be paying two of my friends to handle the rental booth. If I need to add extra people, I have plenty of friends that are in need of a job. I will be overseeing the business and handling any problems/issues that might arise.

Thank you everyone who has replied. I have just come up with a way to also use the carts for more than just rentals. I have contacted several local businesses and asked if they would like to advertise their business (for a fee) on my carts. There is a slot in the front of the cart that could be used for this purpose. So far, I have two taxi companies and four fast food places that deliver. My thought behind this was when planes are delayed people could either call a taxi to go get food or call a fast food place that delivers. There are no eateries located in the airport other than vending machines. None of the vending machines offer a hot meal or even a sandwich. Sometimes flights are delayed 3 hours and these poor passengers have nothing to eat other than junk food from the machines. Now they can either go get food or have food delivered.

Now that's a good way to go about doin' things! And I find this to be rather appropriate right now.
