People who abandoned a community because it became too toxic, what's your story?

I was a member of a Nintendo site called ODSC, stood for online DS community. By the time the bad members took over the DS stood from something very mature....

I quit Reddit and deactivated my account because I was harassed by a moderator over my opinion in a Subreddit section. I believe Reddit needs to heavily regulate the moderators on their website. They literally have trolls as mods there that abuse their power and other members. I won't be going back. There's even complaints about it. There was a new complaint just 14 hours ago. I believe it's out of control and should have been dealt with ages ago.

Oh wow! I used to be on a huge christian forum and was on staff and got fired. It wasn't until I was off staff that I could see the toxicity of the site that the members had been complaining about. I was so much happier when I finally left that place and never looked back.

I will not leave the community. I do not deal with these people who are not part of my life. Thus, I just do not care.
