OK, well, as I don't think I'm blood kin of hers in any way, and I've never met the lady, never watched anything she's ever been in that I know of, and can't say I have any plans to do any of that, would it be somehow intolerant to say that I really don't care either way.
However, I fully support her freedom to "come out" in whatever way she sees fit, and I support the media's right to cover said "coming out" however they feel is right at the time,
AND FURTHERMORE,
I would hope that THEY would also support my right to not give a damn, and to agree that my tax money should not go to support her choice of lifestyle any more than her taxes go to support mine.

I have no opinion on her speech, because I just don't care. I'm getting a bit bored of celebrities, sports stars etc. coming out as being gay to the entire world, especially when it's for reasons such as (to quote Ellen Page herself) because she felt "a personal obligation and a social responsibility" to do it.
