When do you think people should enter the workforce?

As a teenager? Once they finish college?

Debate!

I believe education is everything. I think 14 is a good starting age for part time summer jobs but nothing serious. Then once they get out of high school or finish college they should start looking into getting a full time job.

I think kids should be kids but having a part time job will teach them responsibility, sacrificing 3 or 4 hours a day is nothing and it gives them some extra cash too. I'd say 15 or 16 is a good age.

Did you hear about this?

I agree; however, a lot of employers these days do not care that students have other engagements like homework, sports, and other extracurricular activities. I'd say to a teen to be careful where they apply and really ask about their expectations regarding sticking to certain shifts based off availability.

Agreed. I'd also tell a teen don't be afraid to quit a job and go find something else if you're being mistreated or if your employer thinks they're more important than their schooling and other things going on in their lives.
