I see that Air Pods now support a hearing aid feature? The downside is you have to have either an iPhone or iPad to get the app that controls it (we have neither). My husband could benefit from something like that and even with the cost of the air pods and a used iPad, it would be cheaper than a hearing aid. He could really use a professional hearing aid, but he's adamant that he doesn't need it. Maybe starting off with this would help him realize how much he's missing out on?

As much as I don't like Apple, I do agree something like this would be a good "entry level" approach for someone who isn't sure on hearing aids. It could let them experience a level of hearing that they would otherwise not know without them, and then as you said, make that determination that yes, hearing aids would be the best option for them moving forward.

Plus it's a way for me to ask for an iPad LOL
